THE RAINBOW REVUE
Singin' the Song I
|Jennifer Moore Ryan San Diego SIRE David McNutt|
Jennifer Moore began her vocal career singing duets with her mother in a Baptist church. From early on it was apparent that Jennifer was musically gifted. She would sing classic folk songs with her three brothers while their mother accompanied them on her guitar. She has performed vocal duets and trios, instrumental duets, trios, jazz band and trumpet solos.
Jennifer played with an all female jazz group at the Second Annual Women's Jazz Festival in Tokyo, Japan. They shared the stage with jazz vocal legend Shirley Horn.
Jennifer can be seen playing eccentric horn with acclaimed New York spoken word performance artist Iris Lord and her husband Charles Patty on guitar at the Knitting Factory.
Here in Los Angeles, Jennifer has played hot summer nights at the Hollywood Bowl, Billboard Live, Luna Park, The Roxy, regular spots at the Westlake Pavilion & Calabasas Commons and local Cabarets here in Hollywood. She has performed with at the famed Cinnegrill. This year Jennifer combined the trumpet and her sexy velvet voice to rave reviews.
Storybook Entertainment is currently producing her self titled CD, "An Evening With Jennifer Moore," scheduled to be released in early spring.
We are very happy that Jennifer is coming to perform with us here at THE RAINBOW REVUE.
Ryan San Diego, is no stranger to the stage. He has traveled the United States, Europe, and Asia competing in various competitions and performing at festivals with his chamber choir, the Ateneo Glee Club. His great passion is singing four-part harmony. He's experienced at being a tenor on stage, an alto backstage, a bass in the shower and a soprano in bed. "Now if we can get him to sing all four parts at one time!" (ba dum bum)
Seriously folks, his theater resume includes productions of "The Wiz," "Pippin," "Godspell" and "The Fantasticks."
We are pleased to welcome Ryan to THE RAINBOW REVUE.
SIRE, a regal and dynamic performing artist, captivates audiences with his deep and soulful voice. His smooth and majestic vocals have shared the stage with Al Jarreau, Ann Nesby, Miki Howard, and the great BB King.
He is at home on a large concert stage or in an intimate cabaret setting. His appearances include, Lucy Florence Coffee House, Christopher Street West Festivals and The House of Blues. Recently, he was a guest singer at the wedding ceremony for Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. He's also an active member of the "Life Lion King Choir."
SIRE has graced both the large and small screen. He has been seen on cable television, heard on the air waves, appeared in the feature film "Dance With Me" starring Vanessa L. Williams and "Murder Between Friends" a television movie of the week . SIRE was the Cowardly Lion in "The Wiz."
Currently he is in production for his second CD, as yet untitled, to be released next year.
He is a songwriter, singer, entertainer and comedian. With all of this talent we are overjoyed that SIRE has joined THE RAINBOW REVUE without demanding four times the salary. "Thanks SIRE."
